Lough Eske Castle is located at the foot of the glorious Bluestack mountians in historical grounds that have been home to a Castle since the 1400’s. The town is home to the Donegal Craft Village where guests can get to grips with the Irish art of weaving – including Carding, Spinning, and Warp preparation and enjoy a hands-on experience of Donegal Tweed.

 

For those keen to start the year with a taste of adventure, the infamous Wild Atlantic Way and Donegal Bay are a must. The bay offers some of the best surf in Ireland and is perfect for those just starting out or with years of experience. Back on shore and centred in the cosy setting of the Castle, the on-site spa provides a welcoming sanctuary for guests looking to enjoy some pampering and peace and quiet. The Tower Suite - situated in the original 18th Century wing of Lough Eske Castle completely embodies the history of this Castle Hotel. ​urtyard Rooms - Opening through patio doors into the castle courtyard, the 14 Courtyard Guestrooms are set in the original castle stables of this castle hotel in Donegal. Flooded with natural light through their floor to ceiling windows they are spacious and beautifully finished. The style is country house in keeping with their setting and original use. White wood panelling lines the walls, the floors are sandstone and strewn with deep pile rugs.
