The first part of this vacation takes you to Thailand’s bustling capital, Bangkok. Checking in to the exclusive Aetas Residence (See GVC Resorts Page for full Details). You really are in the heart of the city. The area is awash with by some of the best shopping malls in Thailand, offering some fantastic value in almost anything that you buy (be prepared to haggle). Aetas is only a two minute walk to the BTS sky train terminal which will take you absolutely anywhere you wish to go in Bangkok. Very reasonably priced and cuts traveling time in some areas by up to an hour and a half, traffic being a huge issue in the capital. So it is extremely easy to get around. The hotel does offer taxis etc. on top but in the main it’s smarter to use the BTS.

Take time to discover some of the amazing temples Bangkok has to offer, including the golden palace. The late Kings memorial is one of the more recent attractions, set on the banks of the Chao Praya River. One of the most spectacular buildings you will see there. The late King was revered so highly by the Thai people and this masterpiece is testament to the fantastic King he was. Take a trip to see the colourful and vibrant, very famous floating market in the city, but to take it all in go at night. Thai Boxing being the most famous sport in the country, why not take in an evening at the Thai arena, excellent value and entertainment. It would be a crying shame to come all this way and miss out.

For food lovers, Thailand has to be one of the best places ever to visit. The colours, smells and authentic way of cooking is really second to none. Whether you’re in a five star restaurant or on a street corner where you will see so many vendors the food is quite simply irresistible. The variety will astound you and value for money is pretty much guaranteed.

Let’s not forget though you Hello Kitty fans. As you arrive at the airport you will be picked up in a Hello Kitty themed car, everything is kitty designed outside and inside. Staying for 7 nights at Aetas Residence arriving in your Kitty car sets the theme for the week ahead.

Each day you will be dining at The Hello Kitty Cafe which is filled with Kitty artifacts, souvenirs and soft toys. Sitting right next to a life size Kitty you will have lunch and whilst dining the staff will bring you up to speed on all the Kitty events in Thailand, there are many. Thailand is a haven of kitty attractions so expect to be busy. The Thais love Hello Kitty. Upon checking out of this luxury hotel you’re setting off to the main attraction for Kitty fans. In the North of Thailand almost on the border of Laos is a beautiful village called Phu Rua. You are off to Kitty Town. Spending a full week at Thailand’s number one Kitty resort

This place is a little girls dream come true. The whole resort is dedicated to the famous feline cartoon and packed with Kitty fun all day every day. From exterior to interior, bathrooms bedrooms, cars, shops, gardens everything you see is Kitty. Beautiful flower displays in full bloom just adds to the whole attraction. You can even go and pick strawberries with Kitty. It’s a week she will never ever forget mum and dad.
