It is a great honor to be servicing so many families and taking care of their vacations. That’s what we set out to do when the club was launched onto the open market. Since then we have seen tremendous growth and continue to thrive. The vacation industry has changed dramatically over the last 30 years and our dream was to take things in a new direction. We have done that, which has brought forward more control over vacation ownership to the customer. A thing we felt was truly needed. Less restrictions and more importantly greater savings and choice.
GVCs Board of Directors have a wealth of experience in the hospitality and holiday ownership sector spanning a combined total of over 80 years. GVC has purposely been designed to cater for the 21st century discerning traveller, who commands quality accommodation as well as a wide variety of destinations and cultural experiences to cherish.

Accommodation
Macdonald Hill Valley is a welcoming hotel set on peaceful private grounds, just 20 miles from Chester, with all the facilities required for an idyllic golf break. The four-star resort offers 86 well-equipped and designed guestrooms, a Peter Alliss-designed Championship golf course, and a purpose-built Vital Health and Wellbeing Club to accommodate your every need. All 86 guest rooms are split out into classic rooms, family rooms, club classic rooms, executive rooms, feature rooms, and accessible rooms – with a set of standard amenities that will be sure to impress.
Restaurant & Bars
For your evening meal, Macdonald Hill Valley offers a relaxing Sports Bar and Lounge Bar or a more formal Border’s Restaurant. Both restaurants offer their characteristics and provide you with the perfect dining ambiance to add to your golf break. For a casual drink following a round of golf, try the welcoming Hill Valley Lounge Bar which overlooks the beautiful Emerald Course.
Spa & Leisure
The Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel provides guests with the Vital Health & Wellbeing Club - the ideal way to unwind after a round of golf. With numerous treatments available in the spa including Rock Sauna and Aromatherapy Steam Room, eight Asian Inspired Treatment rooms, Mud Rasul, plus a great 20m swimming pool and well-equipped gymnasium to choose from, there is plenty to keep you occupied once you’ve mastered the golf courses.

Boasting 114 impressive rooms, each offering a modern style combined with a cosy comfortable feel. Fitted with flat-screen TVs and WiFi access alongside a variety of amenities, each room provides everything you need. The Spa at Cotswolds Hotel offers guests a magnificent experience, giving guests the opportunity to relax and unwind after a day on The Cotswolds Club golf course. The hotel restaurant has an array of dishes on offer, all made from the highest quality of ingredients and all for a good price. Open seven days a week to both hotel guests and non-residents, it will always provide a great atmosphere in which to enjoy your dining experience. Dinner selection includes a 2 course selection from the Buffet menu, consisting of 4-5 main courses and deserts.

Ranked among the very best in Oxfordshire, The Cotswolds Club offers a great challenge of golf. With tree-lined fairways in a delightful but challenging setting, there are few better golf courses in the region.
Accommodation
The Cotswolds Hotel boasts 114 rooms that offer modern style with a cosy comfortable stay, equipped with flat screen HD TVs, wifi access and local magazines. There are 72 standard rooms, 20 Studio rooms, 20 junior suites & 2 suites situated over 3 floors, all rooms have either a shower or bath with shower over or Bath with walk-in shower. The 2nd floor of the hotel boasts a beautiful relaxation area leading to the rooftop area with outdoor sauna. Interconnecting rooms are available; ideal for families. All the ground floor rooms have their own private terrace area and many first-floor rooms have balconies, with some overlooking the fairway with views of the Cotswolds hills. A delicious full English and continental breakfast is served in the morning. Check-in is from 3pm daily.

On the second floor, you will find the gym & spa treatment rooms. A visit here provides you with the perfect way to unwind and recuperate from the hustle and bustle of a busy week, with 3 treatment rooms offering the opportunity to take time out to enjoy a range of luxurious treatments with natural and vegan products.
