It is a great honor to be servicing so many families and taking care of their vacations. That’s what we set out to do when the club was launched onto the open market. Since then we have seen tremendous growth and continue to thrive. The vacation industry has changed dramatically over the last 30 years and our dream was to take things in a new direction. We have done that, which has brought forward more control over vacation ownership to the customer. A thing we felt was truly needed. Less restrictions and more importantly greater savings and choice.
GVCs Board of Directors have a wealth of experience in the hospitality and holiday ownership sector spanning a combined total of over 80 years. GVC has purposely been designed to cater for the 21st century discerning traveller, who commands quality accommodation as well as a wide variety of destinations and cultural experiences to cherish.

Just a 10-minute drive from Colchester’s historic city center, the Best Western Marks Tey Hotel offers free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests have free access to the leisure club and there is also an on-site restaurant. The Lifestyle Health & Leisure Club is complimentary to residents during their stay and facilities include a 14 m indoor swimming pool, and steam and sauna rooms, fully air-conditioned gymnasium and 2 outdoor tennis courts.
The elegant lounge and cocktail bar provides the perfect meeting place and somewhere to relax before dining in the splendid Brasserie Restaurant, which offers a selection of international cuisine, complemented by carefully selected wines from around the world.
Colchester Zoo is within a 10-minute drive of the hotel and the Tiptree Jam Factory can be reached after 20 minutes’ drive. Scenic walks can be enjoyed in Constable Country, also just a 20-minute drive away. Flatford Mill is a 30-minute car journey away.

Overview
Situated on the seafront, overlooking Bournemouth Bay, Ocean Beach Hotel & Spa has an outdoor pool. With a superb cliff-top location, it is just a short walk from Bournemouth's town centre and beaches. Paid parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Italian Cafe and Lounge has a terrace with a sea view, and the restaurant offers poolside views and international cuisine. A 3-course dinner can be booked with your reservation at a discounted advance rate.
Located within the Oceana Resort is the Oceana Day Spa at Ocean Beach Hotel & Spa, an Asian inspired Treatment and Beauty Spa. Ocean Beach guests can also use the leisure club at the sister hotel, the Suncliff Hotel, next door. Its facilities include an indoor heated pool, sauna, mini gym and squash courts. Located within the resorts are outdoor solar-heated pools along with 4 Restaurants, 4 Bars and a Costa Coffee Shop.
Ocean Beach Hotel & Spa is on East Cliff, near the BIC, Pavilion Theatre and gardens. Bournemouth Eye is a 15-minute walk and the train station is just half a kilometer away.
The Accommodation
Standard Family bedrooms include a private en-suite bathroom, fully tiled with a shower over bath or walk-in shower. Rooms are comfortable with traditional style décor. Bed allocation varies with Family rooms, available with either one double bed and one single bed or bunk beds.
Sea View twin and double bedded rooms are decorated in a bright, contemporary, beach style and include a modern private en-suite bathroom, fully tiled with a shower over bath or walk-in shower. Rooms are fresh with two 3’ single beds or one 4’6” double bed and fresh linen duvets. Sit and watch the world go by, with stunning views out to sea from the comfort of your beach vibe bedroom.
Sea View Family rooms for 2 adults and 2 children are decorated in a bright, contemporary, beach style and include a modern private en-suite bathroom, fully tiled with walk-in shower. Family rooms for 4 consist of one double bed and bunk beds.
